Jerome Powell and the Federal Reserve haven't changed their stance in the last 9 months which has been two rate cutes by then end of 2025. Today we received further guidance! The federal reserve is holding strong to its target of two rate cuts by the end of 2025 despite political and war tensions. Their plan is to hold rates elevated to prevent inflation especially now with new tariffs in place they don't want to make any moves until they know how the tariffs will impact prices. This will have a large impact on mortgage rates and the broader economy. If you have any questions or thoughts, I would love to talk to you about it.
